TRINIDAD is a one-hour drama centering on Dr. Billye Jackson a Chicago OBGYN, her husband Joe, a psychiatrist and their troubled teenage son Wade. Anxious to gain a fresh start away from a big city, Billye takes a job at a rural Colorado Catholic hospital renown for their groundbreaking surgeon Dr. Stanley Biber, who made Trinidad the “Sex Change Capital” of the USA in 1969. Biber’s recent death has put the hospital in financial straits. Once Billye arrives, she is blindsided when she learns the hospital wants her to take over for Biber, performing the reassignment surgeries -Billye risks everything dealing with her fundamental flaws and doubt of her new reality.
